This my uncensored good ab exercises story. I’m going to give you some very useful and effective tips, the ups, the downs, what stuff didn’t work and finally the one thing that did help me achieve my goal of getting six pack abs.

I think I’ve tried about everything to get the six pack abs showing. It’s hard if you’re not motivated and often you want those results fast! You really need to make up your mind. Some of the best exercises to flatten stomach

Now you got into the basics and are starting to feel more adventurous. Here are some exercises that athletes use to keep that stomach flat. Working on that six pack to create firm abs, choose the right exercises to flatten your stomach.

The stomach exercise called the ab bicycle is designed to get right to the desired area.

Once again you will be lying on your back, with the legs lifted and parallel to the floor. Put your hands to the side of your head using the fingers to touch the head, lift your head slightly off the ground. While you are doing that simultaneously crunch the left side of you upper body bringing your right knee up towards your elbow and moving the upper body to allow your elbow to touch your knee. Then bring up the right elbow and the left knee to touch each other, while you return the other leg to the parallel position to the floor, this imitates the bicycle movement while you are in the lying position, the only difference is you are bicycling in the linearly position instead of the cyclical position, alternating knees to the elbows. This exercise should really get to the heart of the abs, once you get to the heart of the exercise it’s a really fun exercise that does a serious job.

The next fun exercise I highly recommend is the Ab scissors. But remember start with the basics first and work up to these more concentrated exercises to flatten stomach. Never over tax yourself, working out should be fun, involve a friend to help encourage each other, together with some healthy exercise you can achieve the good abs goals you set for yourself.

This second stomach exercise the ab scissors, this exercise is designed to involve a simultaneous movement of upper body and lower body. It is also one of the best stomach exercises to strengthen your abs.

Like all the exercises you begin lying on the floor, stretch out your arms straight over your head and your legs straight out at approximately a 45° angle. In one continuous movement lift your arms and shoulders forward off the ground at the same time lifting your legs and hips up to meet and cross over your arms. This will look you are opening and close a pair of scissors. Hold for about 90 seconds and then return arms and legs to their original position. Do repeats of about 20 exercises and schedule rest intervals in between.

Home Exercises to Flatten Stomach

Ok now you got the low down on preparation for exercises to flatten stomach, now we need to get down to the part where you got to do the work.  Did I mention ab crunches earlier on; I can almost read your minds thinking exercises, that’s hard work.  To put your mind at rest, the exercises are not difficult and if you pace your self and don’t over do it, you will find that they are quite easy and are very effective at toning abs.

Let’s start with the basic crunch, this works on the upper area of your abs and stomach. These are simple exercises to flatten stomach.

  1. Lie flat on your back, put your hands crossed over your chest, knees bent to provide traction and support for your back.
  2. Inhale and slowly raise your shoulders using your abs at the same time pressing the lower back to the floor.  As you reach the peak of the crunch exhale slowly. Count to 5 then slowly lower your back to the floor inhaling at the same time.
  3. Repeat the process approximately 20 to 25 times, then rest for a quick count of 90, then repeat the crunch sets two or three more times, then you are done for the day.

Not let’s not go overboard and think that if you do more you will get there faster, it does not work that way 20 to 25 crunches working the movement in your middle section to get the full benefit. You want to do some good ab exercises paced out to be effective.  If you increase the number of crunches you will start to get lazy and not work them fully and you will start ‘cheating’ and not get the full effect from the exercises, it’s the regular daily exercises that achieves the results.

The second exercise is the reverse Crunch which are exercises to flatten lower stomach at the same time working on the lower section of our abs.

  1. Lie with your back resting on the floor, lift your legs in the air, cross your ankles and bend knees slightly.
  2. Place you arms alongside you with the hand flat on the floor
  3. Make sure that your head is resting on the floor and your back is straight.
  4. Now you got to raise your hips approximately 2 inches off the floor at the same time squeezing or crunching your abs.
  5. Hold this position for about two to three seconds then slowly lower the hips back to the floor, repeat the process 20 to 25 times. Taking a count of 90 seconds between each set of repeats. Do two or three more sets.

Now that wasn’t that hard. Come on you want that flattened stomach, and those abs to show.  So get doing these easy exercises to flatten the stomach.

Preparing for your Exercises to Flatten Stomach and get the figure you always wanted

If you are like me and hate Gyms, all those machines intimidate me, the competition among the people who go to gyms just switch me off. However I must admit that a gym will discipline you to keep it up.

I’d always dreamed of a nice flat stomach and envied many of my friends who can eat what they like and still stay trim. I know that I was headed on the road to perdition, eating the wrong foods and not exercising enough to make the difference between a flea and an elephant. Since I did not want to be the elephant and certainly not a flea I got off my lazy butt and looked up Exercises to Flatten Stomach and how I could regain my trim figure, and get toning abs.

Now get this dieting is not all that bad, starting the day with a handful of nice almonds is one of the things I enjoy most. Increase your fiber intake and cut out those bad carbs are a good start. Limit the bread, potatoes, pasta, and change to brown rice. And increase the fruits and vegetable lots of green leafy kind. And don’t forget to drink your water at least 6 glasses a day or even better make it 8 glasses. That seems like an awful lot but it helps flush out toxins and since you will be exercising you will be using up a lot of liquid so you need to replace. Do I need to teach you how to diet; you all will probably be able to tell me a thing or two. One other tip often overlooked is not to eat at least 3 hours before retiring.

Now to the exercises, you’ve got your diet in shape, now you’ve got to get the body in shape. Doing some ab crunches will make a start, but remember if you want that six pack abs your body fat has to come down to about 10% or even less with the use of healthy exercises.

To be effective you got to combine your diet with your exercises to flatten your stomach. Eating wrong is counterproductive. Piling on the food and then using ab crunches to work it off you will add muscle to fat and end up increasing your stomach, so to burn stomach fat diet correctly doing some abdominal exercises by doing those ab crunches.
